How to Create Custom Records for Vehicles, Properties, or Pets
Set up custom record types in Local Business Pro to track vehicles, properties, equipment, or other industry-specific data.
Quick Answer: Go to Settings > Records & Templates > Custom Records tab, click Create Record, name it (Vehicle, Property, Pet), then add custom fields to capture the details you need.
Step-by-Step Setup
- Navigate to Settings > Records & Templates
- Go to the Custom Records tab
- Click Create Record
- Enter a name (Vehicle, Property, Pet, Equipment)
- Add a description of what this record tracks
- Click Save
- Go to Custom Fields tab
- Create fields and attach them to your new record type
Example Record Types
Vehicle: Year, Make, Model, VIN, Color, Mileage
Property: Address, Square Footage, Year Built, Roof Type
Pet: Name, Species, Breed, Age, Weight
Equipment: Brand, Model, Serial Number, Install Date
