How to Hide or Show the "Need Help?" Chat Prompt

What Is the Help Prompt?

The help prompt is the small "Need help?" bubble that appears next to the chat icon. It draws attention to the chat feature and encourages visitors to click.

Toggling the Help Prompt

  1. Navigate to Connect > Website Chat
  2. Click the Edit Style button
  3. Find the Show Help Prompt toggle
  4. Turn ON to show the bubble (default)
  5. Turn OFF for a cleaner, minimalist look
  6. Preview the change in the widget preview
  7. Click Save to apply

When to Hide vs Show

  • Show - When you want maximum visibility and engagement
