Quick Answer: If you don't have a payment card on file, you'll be redirected to Billing when upgrading. Add your card there, then return to Plans to complete the upgrade.
Step-by-Step Process
- Navigate to Account > Plans
- Select the plan you want
- Click Upgrade
- If redirected, you need to add a payment method
- Go to Account > Billing
- Click Add Card and enter your card details
- Return to Account > Plans
- Select your plan and click Upgrade again
- Upgrade completes with the card on file
