How to Find a Specific Transaction or Payment
Search for specific transactions in Local Business Pro. Find payments by customer name, amount, or transaction ID.

Quick Answer: Use the search box to find transactions by customer name, transaction ID, or amount. Adjust the date range if the transaction is older.
Search Options
- Customer name - Type the customer's name
- Transaction ID - Paste the full or partial ID
- Amount - Search by the payment amount
Finding a Transaction
- Navigate to Payments > Transactions
- Expand the date range if the transaction is old
- Type your search term in the search box
- Results filter as you type
- Click on the matching transaction to view details
Search Tips
- If you know the date, narrow the date range first
- Try searching by amount if you don't know the customer name
- Use partial transaction IDs if you don't have the full number
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why can't I find a transaction I know exists?
A: The transaction may be outside your current date range. Expand the dates or set a custom range that includes when the payment occurred.
Q: Can I search by credit card last 4 digits?
A: Search by customer name or amount instead. Card details aren't typically searchable for security reasons.
